Do I Call Him?

I went on a second date with a man. We had a good time and did no more than kissing. He called me to make sure I got home safely and we chatted.

I have not heard from him 3 days later. Not a big deal and under normal circumstances I would never call or text him. His loss... however
he was having surgery this week.

Do I call him and ask how he is doing or wait for him to contact me (which is what I would normally do)? The surgery thing is dilemma for me... It seems caring and kind to call and at least ask? What would a guy want?

Of course, you need to call him, he had surgery!
We ladies sometimes psycho-analyze way too much - the fact that you're calling to ask how his surgery went could never ever be a bad thing. It shows you are a human being with a caring heart. If I were him, I would think you were cold if I didnt hear from you.

It is better to have communicated your concern for his well being than to leave him guessing if you care. Guys need to know that they are being thought of even when having surgery. Listen to your heart, it's the best place to start.
