He Broke My Heart

It was late June of last summer. I was single, out everyday, not really looking and having the time of my life. I was out with one of my friends on the boardwalk and our plans changed when I got a phone call from my good friend and she asked if we wanted to go to a party. I said yes.

The white Hummer pulled up and me and my friend got in. After we partied the night away I ended up getting really drunk and he took me home. At the time in my life, I was a wreck and I guess he looked at me as a girl that needed help.

A week later I got a text from him and he wanted to take me along with some friends to his house in Voorhees. I said yes. This is where my life changed forever.

I hopped into his car and we drove an hour to his house. It was huge & he was rich. We spent time in his tv room and next thing you know I hooked up with him and we had sex.

It was something I'll never forget. The best day of my life.

Ever since then we hungout everyday for the rest of the summer. We didn't party so much though and he was older which I liked. And he was a Leo, very outgoing and protective of me.

He asked me out and that was the beginning of a very long journey. Nobody mentioned his name without saying mine.

By the end of the summer he applied to college but said I was different then other girls and he really loved me, so we could make it long distance and we did. During that time our emotional bond grew strong.

He told me where he was, what he did and kept close contact. I loved him with all my heart. For Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break he came to Jersey and came to me. Everytime I saw him it was like when Ally and Noah kissed in "The Notebook."

He always promised me he would never leave me and said we would be together forever. Silly me, believed him. And times got tough this summer.

The year I was with him, we did fight but we always pulled together. From May to June, Cameron slept over every weekend. From June to August, he lived with me. We did everything together. Ate, slept, showered and had the best times. We fought here and there but I never thought it was unhealthy.

Something he would do in our fights is put all the blame on me and I would end up asking for forgiveness. From the end of August til now his parents rented an ocean city house that he stayed at. I slept over when I could. But a fight ended up in devastation.

We were in his car and I complained a little about how I was trying to lose weight and I didn't wanna eat dinner past 6. He was mad at me all the sudden. When we got back to his house he stormed inside with the door shutting in front of me. I went inside and he wanted to take me home. When we drove about 10 blocks, I asked him why and he said I was bitching and he began to mock me. I got really upset and walked out of the car.

I was stranded, and he wouldn't answer his phone. I walked 10 blocks back to his house to just get kicked out. I walked 32 blocks till I got to the bridge and got picked up.

When I got home he texted me saying he couldn't do this anymore and that this had to be done and he's sorry. He said it's for the best. And that was it.

After that no phone calls, no nothing until later in the night when he said we could just be friends but never see each other because it's too painful. He says he still loves me and cares about me but can't take me back. That was it and three days later still nothing.

I've been a wreck and can't accept he's gone. He broke my heart. His things are here but he hasn't come to get them. He leaves for college at the end of the month. I feel like I can't live without him and if he truly loved me he should come back.
