The Distance Between

I've been dating a man for seven years. We had an off again on again engagement due to the fact that we were both raising our children in seperate homes some 75 miles apart. After finally moving in with him, I discovered that he had been involved with his HR Director at work (who is 8 years older than him and 15 years older than me) for 3 years at the same time he was seeing me.

Although they had since broken it off and professed they had only been good friends, he finally admitted to me that they had several sexual encounters as well.

Here I am 7 months later, and he has now adopted a dog that he chooses to invest all his affection and admiration and credits all his happiness to, but expects to get frisky with me in the bedroom while the dog(female) watches all the while. I am feeling creeped out by his behavior and feel like he is not the man that I once thought I knew and fell in love with years ago.

I think I am secretly devising an escape plan, although I currently am financially dependent on him. (Ouch!)
