The Love That Never Stopped

by Joe Barnes
(Paradise, CA)

I was in grade school when I met this amazing girl. I always hated school but she liked it. After a year, I finally got the courage to ask her out. Every day after that was like a fairytale.

I didnt like school until I went out with her then I couldn't wait to go to school just to see her. I found out she had to move so I broke up with her.

To this day she thinks I broke up with her because I wanted to go out with another girl but it was because she was moving. I was afraid of her feeling tied down and especially scared of her cheating on me. Having to break up with her left me crushed but after I was able to talk to her with out crying I told her that we would go out in high school.

When high school started we where just friends and she had a boyfriend that she really liked but this guy had already cheated on her and a bunch of other stuff.

I still really liked her but never could tell her. After her boyfriend and her broke up, she started dating again. She went out with my best friend and she dated some other guys too but the whole time she liked me (or at least thats what she told me).

After about a week or two of knowing this, I decide to ask her out. The only reason why I waited for so long was because I really didn't want to mess up our friendship. We're together now and I'm very happy.

I just found out she has been talking to her ex-boyfriend on MySpace. She really liked him (or still does) and a few days ago she was upset because he had another girlfriend. Before she even told me, I knew that it had something to do with him.

Now I'm all insecure, worried that she still likes him. I really hope she doesn't because I know that I'm in love with this girl and I hope she loves me back just as much as she says she does.

I have a horrible feeling that she still likes him and its going to break my heart if she dumps me for him.

I will always love her no matter what even if we become just friends or if we become husband and wife. I really hope we stay together because I love her soooo much and I dont know what I would do without her.
