Turns Out I've Been Lying Too

I was an amazing girlfriend over my guy's deployment. A few months after he got back, he changed and I felt a big distance.

How did I fix it?

I went out and had numerous affairs. He had no idea and still doesn't know that I cheated on him.
Long story short, I caught him cheating and made him feel like the scum of the Earth.

I don't feel bad at all for cheating on him. I never did. I planned it all out. I still loved him. He was good in bed. But cheating was a way to get back at him for ignoring me. If i saw him tomorrow I'd punch him in the face. I at least had the respect to not be an emotional cheater and more importantly to not get caught.

Try Not To Judge Others

The Bible, if read and applied consistently, with an open heart and mind can work miracles in a person's life. That is why I highly recommend it to anyone encountering relationship woes. To compare the Holy Bible to a car repair manual or even a hammer is ludicrous. Respect for ourselves and others should be synonymous with being in any relationship. I am such a believer in the power of faith so I can't help but to share that angle of my beliefs. The fact that I choose to be anonymous should not be an issue. God knows who I am and I am confident in what I know. If I did not share that, it would be a sin. Just like lying. Why choose sin when we don't have to? There are many answers to life's most complex questions simply contained in the Bible, that is a fact - one should feel extraordinarily blessed to have such a reliable resource. I have read many, many books but the one that keeps me on the right spiritual path is... well I'm sure you already know what I was going to say. May you find peace in all of your endeavors. Oh here we go again...

What is it with people who post anonymously on websites who think they have the right to dictate about "immorality" to the rest of the world?

...and then you just had to resort to personal attacks about me being illiterate. Yes, Anonymous, I have read the bible. I haven't in a couple years since these books about molecular biology have had me a little busy and seem to provide concrete answers to life questions rather than something that is left to the interpretation of anyone who reads it.

Does that feed my spirit? I think so. Any time you can unlock the wonders of the real world, you are fulfilling god's wish. If god made us in his image, then he made us very curious.

The fact that you only get your "enlightenment" from one book is not fulfilling a destiny that god gave all of us: to seek a path that unlocks his message in ALL of his creation. What you have essentially done is picked up a book about car repair and applied it verbatim to repair your own car disegarding whether you own a Ferrari or more likely in this case, a Pinto.

I'm really sorry to the person who started this post for hijacking it. Sometimes personal problems need to be fixed with a delicate set of tiny screwdrivers instead of smashing it with a Bible-shaped hammer.

I don't see your correlation to this girl's plight. She simply needed to get something off her chest which indicated her guilt. You, on the other hand, might not understand - if you don't get that.'Thresholds' or immorality? I wonder what, if any books you have read lately? Do you nourish your spirit with inspirational material? We could learn a lot from 'dirt farmers and fisherman in the desert'! What is holding you back from enlightenment - I wonder?

How is the Bible gonna teach her how to be a better girlfriend? How can a book about a bunch of dirt farmers and fishermen in the desert get her boyfriend (who's returning from a war and probably pretty messed up) to be present in this relationship?

People have all kinds of thresholds in what they consider cheating.

She was kind of a bitch for making him feel so bad when she was getting her own side action, but JESUS?!!

I just don't see how one even remotely equals another. Live your life, girl. Find someone who doesn't make you want to cheat!

You sound like you have some serious relationship issues. Have you considered counseling? I recommend that you do a little soul-searching to discover what underlies such a negative mindset. Have you ever read the Bible? It can change your life - you are worth so much more than what you are portraying yourself to be. Create the life you desire - every day of life leads to our purpose. What is yours???
